I just wanted to point out that as of python 3.6, string interpolation was made more 'pythonic' by removing the need to make a .format() call. It looks like this:

print(f"Hello my dog's name is {name} and he is {age} years old") (simply prefix your string with the letter f. Using .format() is not wrong, but this removes some of the confusion and need to keep track of sequence for multi-variable interpolation.
